Welcome to the EYE Light Student Film Festival Information Page.

 

EYE Light was started at Buckingham Charter Magnet High School, in 2001, teaching student about the film industry using 35mm film cameras. The most notable films produced at BCMHS are Sanctuary and Ashes.

Since then the festival has had its ups and downs. It went from an International festival, to school site, to district, to regional, then virtual, and back to a school festival. 

​

It is again open to local districts and community high school students.
